Exhibition "Leonardus Vincius" / Arnaldo Francesco

  • akron gallery 17 Øvre Bakklandet Trondheim, Sør-Trøndelag, 7013 Norway (map)

Leonardus Vincius is an exhibition dedicated to 500th Anniversary of Leonardo’s Death.

Leonardo is the artist in constant search for answers to his endless curiosity. In his eyes there is a joyful, continuous observation of the World. Everything he sees and thinks about is interpreted with precise and unfinished drawings. Emotions advance on the war machines and give way to the poetry of a flower.

All this “is part of the great market of life, where illusions produce false miracles that deceive the multitudes of people”. The only way is to imagine, to look forward, to create.

Arnaldo´s interpretations are bound to this infinite thread. These are suggestions and emotions born on the visual joy in encountering his work, using the same graphic technique, the sanguigna.

Arnaldo Francesco, “I’ve shared my life with young people, drawing every day with them as an Art teacher.

I’ve never told any of my pupils that he or she wasn’t able to draw:

I’ve always tried to encourage them to express their creativity.

In my luggage there are Ateliers by Arno Stern for the Liberation through the colour, workshops and exhibitions with adults, encounters with people with special needs, theatrical mechanisms…

brachiosaurus and life-sized whales that become game machines to be explored with all your senses.

Drawing, designing and building with imagination makes me feel free.”
