Soledad Demaría (1983). She lives and works in Buenos Aires. Argentine artist born in Buenos Aires. It has a self-taught training. He attended the painting workshops of Bartolome Vaccarezza and Cristina Bucciarelli.
In her paintings she elaborates metaphorical plots that intertwine dream juxtapositions with a conscious daily life rooted in hes ability to interpret the environment. She develops in the field of painting and mural art, performing works with acrylics, inks and porcelain. She participated in national and international exhibitions in countries such as the United States, Spain, Italy and France. She directs Art projects in the Public Space for the Government of the City of Buenos Aires.
Conscious and unconscious relate life as an act of artistic creation. In her speech, art is life and, as such, light and darkness flow as a time parallel to the rational and emotional sphere. She create spaces for an imaginary that connects the different levels between which the artist moves. Her writing characterizes the search for nature, peace and reality. The indescribable symbols, spirituality and contemplation of the environment are images that arise from one's emotions and materialism theme in the tissue.
Her works exceed the limits of time and merge her art with the night space through the built environment, the city and public spaces. She develops in the field of painting and mural art, performing works with acrylics, inks and porcelain.

The last series of works by Soledad Demaría is mainly starring female characters, self-absorbed and superimposed on each other; women formed or inhabited by many others. Some of them were historical personalities, even mythical, who achieved recognition in life as Pina Bausch, or through post-mortem stories that made them legendary and mysterious.
Although the bright and intense tones make them seem at first sight festive or cheerful scenes, the images are made up of thoughtful beings and in some cases even suffering, whose darkness appears mediated and dramatized by the use of color.
These paintings are characterized by the impossibility of being captured in a single glance, before completely covered surfaces, which initially overwhelm the viewer, in a modern version of the horror vacui. By following the evolution of the lines of composition, it is possible to capture the interweaving of situations that begin to unveil before each new approach, revealing the particular and unique universe of the artist.
